For the last three years, Colorado field production of crude oil has exceeded 300,000 barrels per day with 336 KBPD in 2015, 317 KBPD in 2016, and a record setting 351 KBPD in 2017.

From 1981 until 2010, Colorado averaged 73.53 thousand barrels per day, bottoming out in 2001 at 45 thousand barrels per day.
